About Madame Caldwell

​​Welcome to K,1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade art! I am pleased to be the art teachers at Reed School and Bel Aire. This year is my 20th with Reed Union School District. In all my art classes, I mix a blend of studio art as well as art appreciation and analysis. I have always used art in my curriculum as tool to foster critical thinking and abstract thought. If we are able to become critical thinkers then the ability will transfer to all areas of the curriculum. Art is such a powerful tool that makes learning fun and a place where everyone is successful!
